After talking with the Dark Lord again, he will then advance the player from a Rogue to an Assassin.Īt Level 60, the player will receive a lightbulb above their head. He will allow the player to choose to advance to either an Assassin or Bandit a player that desires to become a Night Lord will want to advance to an Assassin. The player will be given an HP and MP boost, as well as a basic thief weapon.Īfter saving Maple Island with the help of a Mysterious Voice, the player will reach Level 30 and talk to Athena Pierce, who will send the player back to the Hideout to talk with the Dark Lord. When the player reaches Level 10 as a Beginner, aspiring Thieves will be sent to the Hideout in Kerning City to talk to the Dark Lord, who will advance the player to a Rogue. This skill is upgraded in 4th job with Night Lord's Mark, making it stronger and creating more stars that fly around. Their job specialty skill is Assassin's Mark, which launches randomly-flying stars around to damage enemies while attacking. In 3rd job, they gain a skill called Shadow Partner, which mimics the player's attacks, using extra stars but dealing extra damage at a reduced rate. They have several attacks for dealing with multiple enemies, including Shuriken Burst, which tosses a flaming star at enemies, Gust Charm, which pushes enemies back, Shade Splitter, which summons shadows to attack enemies in front of the player, and Showdown, which deals significant damage and raises EXP and drop rate gained from enemies attacked. They throw stars at enemies from afar to deal damage, with a new single-target attack in later job advancements. The Night Lord job branch uses Throwing Stars alongside their primary weapon, Claws, and Charms as secondary weapons.
